The 2019 Saline County 4-H International Night was held at the Harrisburg First Church of God on April 29, 2019. A large crowd attended International Night to see our talented 4-H youth give presentations on their chosen countries, to view the displays, and to sample the fun international foods. The Saline County 4-H Federation sponsors the prizes for this annual event.
The Lads & Lassies 4-H Club, led by Jeanette and James Bond, placed first and received a blue ribbon and a State Fair ribbon for their presentation of Philippines. Placing second and receiving a blue ribbon and a State Fair Alternate ribbon for their presentation of China as the Clover Explorers 4-H club, led by Cindy Jean.
The Country Clovers 4-H club placed third and received a blue ribbon for their presentation of Canada. Country Clovers is led by Tim and Eliza Arnold. Pleasant Valley Go-Getters 4-H Club, led by Dan and Nancy Evans, presented Puerto Rico and received a blue ribbon and a certificate for Most Informative. The H2H 4-H club presented Bulgaria and received a blue ribbon and a certificate for Best Traditional Food. H2H 4-H Club is led by Samantha Parish.
We would like to thank all the club members, leaders, parents, and our judges, Marisa Davis, Alex McRoy and Alex Watkins, for making this a fun and informative International Night. Thank you to the Saline County 4-H Federation for sponsoring the monetary awards and to Harrisburg First Church of God for providing the facility.

Pleasant Valley Go-Getters 4-H Club members are pictured following their presentation of Puerto Rico at the Saline County 4-H International Night. The club, led by Dan and Nancy Evans, received a blue ribbon and a certificate for Most Informative.
