The Southeastern Illinois College Nursing Club donated 25 percent of the proceeds from their bake sale and silent auction held on Tuesday, November 1 to Freddie’s Food Pantry. SIC and the SIC Foundation, along with corporate partner COUNTRY Financial, have created Freddie’s Pantry to help fight hunger for students on campus. Students who receive Pell grants are eligible to visit the Pantry up to three times per semester (one visit per week).
