Rotary/Solar Energy

The Harrisburg Rotary held their weekly luncheon meeting on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Ponderosa. Rocky Hull’s guest speaker was Davy and Dave Martin of D&D Electric, LLC. Dave Martin explained how his family got into the solar business. The Martins have two units in Saline County, Gallatin County and one in Pope County. Martin stated that it costs anywhere from $20-30,000 to install a home unit. A 30% tax credit can be applied to the cost. Solar units may be installed for businesses.
