Ferrell Hospital Announces $34 Million Renovation


After three years of waiting, Ferrell Hospital has secured funding, as well as local, state and national approval, to begin a $34 million expansion and modernization of their 25 bed facility. The current Ferrell Hospital facility has 33,000 square feet, the new project will add 55,000 square feet of new space and modernize 17,000 square feet of current space. The project will begin this fall and will include expanded imaging and surgical facilities, a larger and modern emergency department, renovation of patient rooms to create more private (rather than semi-private) rooms.
