Emerald Ash Borer Management Meetings

Emerald Ash Borer has devastated ash trees in communities, municipalities and natural forests throughout large portions of northern Illinois but has only recently spread to areas of central and southern Illinois.
A partnership of agencies and organizations have organized a series of workshops to help inform foresters, arborists, community decision makers, and landowners about emerald ash borer and what can be done to mitigate impacts from this highly invasive insect.
Join us at one of four community workshops:
February 21st: Carbondale Civic Center, 200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale
February 22nd: Metro East Parks and Recreation District, 104 United Drive, Collinsville
February 23rd: Ballard Nature Center, 5253 US 40, Altamont
February 28th: University Farm-Livestock Center, County Road 1100E, Macomb
Meeting schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., lunch and refreshments included.
$10 registration, lunch included. CEUs are available
