for Expansion Project

Bethany Reyling, Ferrell Hospital Director of Community Education

The public was invited to attend a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) meeting on April 20, 2017. The meeting was held at the Community Center in Eldorado, Illinois at 5:00 pm.
The meeting provided explanation for community members on financing options that Ferrell Hospital hopes to secure as part of our expansion plan, along with what the entire expansion project will entail. Several key hospital leaders along with the construction management team, and community members presented at the meeting.
Earlier this month, Ferrell Hospital was awarded a Certificate of Need by the State of Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board to move forward with a $37 million dollar expansion and renovation project. The approved plan will modernize the 25-bed critical access hospital and provide space for expanded health services.
