Members of the Eldorado High School Rotary Interact Club visited the Eldorado Rotary Club last month to tell the group of their experiences at the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp this summer and to thank the club for covering the costs, which allowed them to attend.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a leadership program coordinated by Rotary Clubs around the globe. Each year, thousands of young people, ages 13-30 participate in this program run by the club’s district committee. Participants are chosen for their leadership potential and Rotary Clubs and the Rotary District cover all expenses for the participants. The format of the event varies from district to district, but commonly takes the form of a seminar, camp, or workshop to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice.
